● Step 8: For server information,
Choose IMAP as Account Type.
Incoming Mail Server must be set as imap.mail.yahoo.com
and the Outgoing mail server should select SMTP and set it as smtp.mail.yahoo.com
● Step 9:In the next step, add your User name and Password in login Information and tick on the option to “Remember Password”. Then choose the option for “More Setting”.
● Step 10:Under the Outgoing service
tab, Enable “My outgoing server (SMTP)
requires authentication” and then select “use the same settings as my incoming mail server”
● Step 11: Further go to the” Advanced tab” and select “Incoming Server (IMAP) to 993 with SSL
encryption as new and more suitable port settings. Then set “Outgoing Server (SMTP) to 587 with TLS
encryption.
● Step 12: Now we are almost at the
end of the process and hit the “Ok”
button followed by a click on the “Next
“button to finish the process.
● Step 13: Click on the” Close” Option if the account logs in
properly.
● Step 14: Final step is to choose the
“Finish “option. This will complete
the process to create and set up Yahoo mail in Outlook Email Client.
